Musalia Mudavadi has been in talks with his lawyers regarding a story that was published by the media accusing him of land grabbing.

On Thursday,  the National Super Alliance (NASA) principal refuted claims alleging that he owned property in Woodley Estate, Nairobi.

"Mudavadi has no property purported to have been 'reprocessed' and their title revoked as reported," he said in a statement as reported by The Star.

According to Mudavadi he is only a tenant at the Woodley house and it is the property of the county government.

"A cross examination and fair reporting can confirm the same at the City Hall," Mudavadi stated.

"If such an allocation and title exists, it must be a fraud perpetrated within the Ministry of Lands and the National Land Commission," he shared.

He further mentioned that as the patron of Kakamega Golf Club, he has no interest in the land.

According to Mudavadi, it is important for the media to verify stories prior to publishing them.

He believes that the story was a plot by Jubilee to spoil the image of NASA. "NASA is aware that Jubilee employed the services of EACC to thoroughly intimidate and soften the NLC," Mudavadi said.
