Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi has refuted any bad blood between him and opposition leader Raila Odinga.

This, however, follows a recent fallout between the two, with Mudavadi siding with Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula in condemning Odinga over an alleged involvement in his (Wetangula) Senate Minority Leader ouster.

Adressing mourners in Shinyalu in Kakamega county on Saturday, an event also attended by the former Prime Minister, Mudavadi noted that they remain united under the opposition's National Super Alliance (NASA) umbrella despite their recent spat.

"We might have differed with Odinga earlier but that did not erode our unity under NASA," he said.

"He remains one of the most important members of our country and my respect and admiration for him remains intact despite our initial ideological variations," he added.

His remarks were echoed by the veteran leader who downplayed any cracks in the alliance which has been standing on shaky grounds lately, following his January 30 mock presidential inauguration.

The event was snubbed by all his co-principals within the formation, resulting to a section of his allies branding Mudavadi, Wetangula and Wiper Democratic Movement (WDM) party leader Kalonzo Musyoka traitors and cowards.

The trio also faulted the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader's March 9 truce with President Uhuru Kenyatta citing exclusion.
