ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi has faulted his political rivals who accuse him of being unable to serve Kenyans. He defended his political legacy since he started working in government, saying he did a lot when he served as the Finance Cabinet Minister between 1993 and 1997.Mudavadi said he among other things, saved Kenya from donor boycott and restored sanity in the economy.''Who takes the credit for Thika Highway? An individual or the government? Speaking of which I saved this country from donor boycott and restored sanity in the economy, created KRA, autonomy of Central Bank, removed foreign exchange controls and stopped the infamous Goldenberg affair while Finance Minister from 1993 to 1997,'' said the 2017 presidential hopeful. As communications minister, he noted that he opened the airwaves and that is why there is proliferation of media and telephone service providers. ''When all is said and done it is about a government through respective line ministries serving the people of Kenya and taking development of our country to the next level,'' concluded the former Sabatia MP and deputy prime minister, Friday.
