Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi has revealed how the opposition Nasa intends to hit the 10 million vote mark.
The National Super Alliance chief said getting 10 million votes in the August polls will deliver victory to their presidential candidate, Raila Odinga.
Mudavadi said Nasa had drafted a clear strategy to reach their target. In the strategy, each of the pentagon members in charge of five key regions to not only raid Jubilee’s perceived strongholds but also optimise voter turnout in opposition areas.
The ANC leader is the national chairman of the Nasa campaign committee.
“We’ll have our teams in a round-robin move-around manoeuvre to cover the whole country. You’ll be surprised how our in-tray is overflowing with creative ideas from Kenyans of all levels and status. They’re volunteering ideas and their time. Ours is a people driven campaign,” he told The Nation on Saturday.
The former deputy prime minister also said they have brought together a team of experts to help them out.
Raila will lead campaigns in Nairobi, Luo Nyanza, parts of Western and Coast.
His running mate Kalonzo Musyoka, will oversee Eastern and parts of Coast while Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto takes charge of Rift Valley.

The other regions will be shared responsibility.
The Nasa principals have also agreed on making joint appearances as a show of unity in their rallies.
