The race to State House is continuing to gain momentum with both NASA and Jubilee sides of the political divide accusing each other of using dirty tricks to woo voters.
Ahead of the much-awaited October 17 contest pitting President Uhuru Kenyatta and his bitter rival Raila Odinga, NASA has stepped its foot on the gas even as they accuse Jubilee of using chiefs to buy IDs from regions considered opposition strongholds.
Speaking during NASA's campaign trail in Narok on Saturday, Musalia Mudavadi who is in-charge of Raila's campaigns, warned the president against misusing public resources.
"We have learnt that President Kenyatta is calling chiefs to State House and is giving them money to go and buy IDs from voters at Sh. 1,000 each. And we want to ask him to stop misusing public funds to deny voters their democratic right," Mudavadi said.
Siaya Senator James Orengo who spoke during the same event said that majority of the votes from Narok County were stolen in favour of Uhuru Kenyatta.
