ANC party leader and opposition alliance (NASA) co-principal Musalia Mudavadi has said that Coastal people and their counterparts from the Western region have a major say in the nation’s political direction.

Speaking during a rally in Mombasa Friday,Mudavadi urged the coast region to come out in large numbers and propel the alliance’s flag bearer Raila Odinga into Presidency in the approaching August 8th general polls.

‘’Coast and Western are the only regions which can decide the nation’s next president on a 99% turnout,’’ said Mudavadi.

He also urged them to utilize the power to transform the nation by crowning the alliance.

Mudavadi further expressed confidence that the alliance will record a win in the race saying that Raila Odinga is the man to beat in the contest.

‘’This is Raila’s biggest opportunity to lead the nation. Nothing can stop him this time,’’ said the former Deputy Premier.

The alliance is seeking to wrestle power from the incumbent Jubilee administration whose leader President Uhuru Kenyatta is also in the race to defend his seat.
