The National Super Alliance (NASA) has decided that it will not have anymore meetings with the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, since the board is currently constituted.
NASA co-principal Musalia Mudavadi issued a statement on Thursday and said meetings with the commission would be 'open structured national stakeholder dialogues' which would be shared with the public.
The opposition party also demanded that the IEBC conduct a new poll and ensure that the process is credible while protesting the decision by the electoral body to contract Al Ghurair as the printer of the ballot papers.
"Our irreducible demands are not impossibilities, ours are within the emerging broad international consensus that the IEBC needs to correct irregularities and illegalities in order to carry out a credible election," Mudavadi said.
The NASA co-principal went to guarantee members of the public that a letter detailing their demands would be published in a local daily on Friday.
