Speaking during his tour in Western region on Saturday, Mudavadi said the Luhya community should support one of their own in the forthcoming polls.

Mudavadi said the Luhya nation has for long time supported other communities in previous elections whose efforts have been futile.

"With our vast votes, we have been supporting leaders from other communities and we have remained behind, it's time to wake up," Mudavadi said.

Mudavadi told the NASA leader Raila Odinga to be cautious, warning that the Jubilee government is crafty and doesn't own up to pacts.

He reiterated that he too was a victim of the Jubilee's duo (UhuRuto) back in 2013 when they tricked him to join the party and be the flag bearer only to be short changed later.

"I have been there and that's why I am being cautious, I am aware of what those two are capable of," Mudavadi said.

Mudavadi was accompanied by Ford-Kenya leader Moses Wetangula who blamed ODM leader for the looming NASA coalition dissolution.
