Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi has accused President Uhuru Kenyatta of failing to abide by diplomatic laws.
According to the Star, Mudavadi said President Kenyatta was trying to impede the economic relations Kenya had with South Sudan and the United Nations.
This is after he ordered for the immediate withdrawal of KDF troops from the peace keeping mission in South Sudan.
Mudavadi claimed that in case South Sudan plunged into a civil war, then Kenya would also be affected.
"Kenya's international obligations cannot be decided by an individual because of one incident. Kenya should not be seen as a country that easily falls to provocation as it will be termed as a whining nation in the future. The government should not mishandle the current situation as Kenya's investment in South Sudan are huge," said Mudavadi.
The former Deputy Prime Minister said Kenyatta acted unwisely in his call to withdraw Kenyan troops from South Sudan.
He further claimed that the Jubilee administration was using ethnic alignment to facilitate corruption in the country.
