ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi has come to the public to speak over the 'betrayal' claims against him.
This was after he failed to avail himself at the swearing-in ceremony on NASA principal Raila Odinga on Tuesday.
Speaking on Wednesday, Mudavadi cautioned critics against rushing into conclusions and added that the matter should never be politicised.
He added that the four principals in NASA were set to meet today Thursday to iron out their issues.
“The NASA summit, which includes our leader Raila, will meet today or latest tomorrow and thereafter issue a joint statement on the way forward," he said.
He added that no amount of opposition in NASA would drive them out of the alliance since they were an integral part of it.
"We are an integral part of NASA and anyone saying that we have left is practicing cheap politics," he said.
Mudavadi is credited for starting the NASA alliance and approaching other opposition leaders for unity in a bid to topple the Jubilee government.
Their efforts, however, did not succeed after President Uhuru Kenyatta won both the August 8 general election and the repeat polls of October 26
