Amani National Congress leader Musalia mudavadi has addressed the status of his relationship with ODM leader Raila Odinga.
This after Mudavadi announced that Odinga is no longer the leader of NASA after the parties fell out following Raila's move to bury the hatchet with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Uhuru and Raila agreed to work together after months of animosity between the two leaders.
Speaking on Sunday, Mudavadi stated that he has no personal grudge against Raila and he respects him as a senior politician in the country.
“I respect Raila Odinga. He is a serious senior politician in this country. Sometimes we agree and disagree and we will continue to remain civil with each other,” said Mudavadi.
Speaking during an interview with KTN news, Mr Mudavadi maintained that NASA has not died from the shake up and it will only take candid consultations among the principals to regain the confidence of supporters.
The former deputy prime minister said that Raila's move to reconcile with Uhuru caught NASA by surprise shaking the coalition.
