The Amani National Congress party leader on Friday revealed why he failed to attend the Thursday's Nasa's top brass summit with senators at Panafric hotel.
The meeting was oganised following the coalition's senators move to eject Wetangula from his Senate minority leader position.
However, the NASA principal was conspicuously missing at the important meeting meant to convince senators to rescind their decision of kicking out Ford-Kenya leader Moses Wetangula.
Despite being privy to the meeting, Mudavadi said that he had already booked meetings he could not postpone.
According to Mudavadi, his presence had no value for what he described to as something that had been choreographed.
"I had already booked meetings I could not postpone. But frankly, of what value was my presence going to add to what appears to have been a choreographed script against Wetang'ula?" asked Mr. Mudavadi.
Speaking to a local media house on Friday, Mudavadi said that his presence would not change the decisions made by senators who could not even listen to the pleas form their party leader.
"If majority senators cannot listen to pleas from their party leader, my presence would not matter to those determined to humiliate the senator," added Mudavadi.
He continued to criticise the move to oust Wetangula and downplayed the expected 14-day senators retreat meant to discuss the ejection of Wetangula, an issue the Nasa principal sees as something that had already been decided in the Senate.
