NASA co-principal Musalia Mudavadi has broken his silence after the Supreme Court ruling that threw out petitions that sought to annul Kenyatta's re-election.

Mudavadi said that the opposition was keen on pursuing electoral reforms so as to avoid issues that have dogged previous elections.

He also hit out at government spokesperson, Eric Kiraithe who faulted the intention of the opposition to pass the People Assembly motions in their strongholds.

''It is intimidation and a total lack of understanding of the law.  First You cannot embargo a legislative organ. County Assemblies are legislative organs recognized in the constitution. Who is Kiraithe to go and say that a county assembly cannot talk about a particular subject. He is dreaming.'' Mudavadi fumed.

Mudavadi advised Kiraithe to consult the Attorney General before pronouncing himself on certain issues.
