Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi says Raila Odinga's mock swearing-in was fraudulent and he would have not been part of it.
Despite appearing in several rallies with Raila and promising to attend, Mudavadi would disappear into the thin air during the event.
In an interview with KTN news, Mudavadi insisted that he did not believe in the function due to unconstitutionality surrounding it.
"Every Kenyan concerned about the well bing of our nation, should worry about deceit and impunity because the law ought to be obeyed.
"We could not allow a situation where custodians of the law are breaching it recklessly," said Mudavadi in reference to the swearing-in.
Surprisingly, his account of events contradicts those of his secretary general Barack Muluka, who said that Raila had abandoned Mudavadi moments to a match to Uhuru Park.
Asked about his current relationship with Raila, Mudavadi said, he still respects the veteran leader despite their current differences that have almost sunk NASA coalition.
