The Amani National Congress leader, Musalia Mudavadi has urged Kenyans to vote him as the next president saying he believes he is in a position to change the country.

Mudavadi said he believes if he is elected as president, he will be able to make the country a developed nation.

Speaking on Monday, Mudavadi said the current government is nothing but a joke. He questioned what the Jubilee government has achieved since it took over power, three years ago.

‘‘What we see in today’s government is nothing but empty promises. What has this government achieved since president Uhuru took over power? I think Kenyans now need a change. A change is coming in 2017. I know I am the change,’’ said Mudavadi.

He accused the government of not working with IEBC to help it achieve its goals to register 4 million voters. He revealed that the government led to the failure of the commission’s dream since it only gave the commission 500 million to conduct the exercise.

‘‘The money is very little to conduct such an exercise, I wonder how the commission could have managed to meet the target .it is the government’s plan to let the commission fail,’’ he said.
