According to Musali Mudavadi, the head of the National Super Alliance, the ruling Jubilee coaltion has been working with Jubilee operatives to rig the polls in favour of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto.

“We have credible information about covert meetings that top commission leaders has been having in a house in Kileleshwa with part of the secretariat staff and senior Jubilee operatives geared to sabotaging the successful conduct of the elections by the commission,” said Mudavadi

He added: “We wish to remind them that any attempt to subvert the will of the people will be robustly resisted and they will be held accountable for all transgressions in the electoral process”

NASA further demanded that the commission ensure that ballot papers, the Kenyan Integrated Elections Management System (KIEMS), and all other election materials are delivered to all polling stations by today 5am.

According to Mudavadi, having the materials in Nairobi was another plan to interfere with the process, which might frustrate voting in general.

“We have disturbing information that election materials designated for some NASA strongholds were until this morning still in the warehouse in Nairobi, pointing to a clear plan by officers in the commission secretariat to sabotage this election,” he added.

Kenyans will tomorrow, Tuesday, line up in polling stations to vote in their leaders in the much awaited elections.
