NASA principal Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula are set to embark on a series of political rallies across the country.
The rallies will be used to sell their new agenda of uniting the luhya community.
According to ANC secretary general Barrack Muluka. the rallies are set to gain pace in the coming days.
"The two leaders will continue with their rallies with an aim to mobilize votes in preparation for 2022," Muluka is quoted by Kenyans.co.ke.
Muluka further stated that the rallies are to inform citizens on the Luhya unity bid as well as address national issues.
"We are not planning to have an ethnic-based party. That is actually unconstitutional. Thatis not our aim, " he said.
"We have many options when the time comes. We might form one party of have all leadersjoining one of the current parties," Muluka said while commenting on the possibility of merging the two parties.
The two parties are set to be merged after differences with ODM following the infamous handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta anad Raila Odinga.
