A former Senator has revealed that ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula will be part of the 2022-2027 government.
Boni Khalwale (formerly Kakamega) on Friday said the two leaders have been in the opposition for long and wont manage to serve in the opposition again after 2022.
Mudavadi and Wetangula are the key leaders at the opposition National Super Alliance (NASA) following the decision by opposition chief Raila Odinga to agree to work with President Uhuru Kenyatta following their unexpected meeting at Harambee House Nairobi.
Khalwale said on Friday in a Tweet said: "Moving into the Ford Kenya/Amani National Congress merger, we have resolved that we shall form the next government with others or others will form the next government with us. Being outside government is not funny."
Mudavadi and Wetangula have been critical of Raila after his meeting with Uhuru and they claim the former Langata MP has a hidden agenda which they claim is aimed at crippling other NASA affiliate parties.
The two questioned Raila's decision to meet Uhuru without the knowledge of other NASA co-principals including Wiper's Kalonzo Musyoka.
Khalwale has remained one of the leaders from Western Kenya lashing at Raila over his decision to 'abandon' Kalonzo, Mudavadi and Wetangula in NASA and work with his key rival, President Uhuru Kenyatta.
