Amani National Congress leader and Opposition alliance NASA co-principal Musalia Mudavadi has challenged the Opposition to remain united to win the August polls.

Speaking on Sunday at Redeemed Gospel Church, Kisumu, Mudavadi dismissed reports that there was an imminent fallout within NASA, observing that the Opposition is firmly united.

“We are united for the interest of Kenyans. No matter how hot it becomes in NASA, we must remain together and save Kenyans from bad leadership," the Star quoted him.

“If Musalia, Raila, Kalonzo or Wetang’ula becomes the flagbearer, then it is Kenyans who will have won,” he added.

He further warned that Jubilee Party would win the elections if any of them bolted out of the outfit.

“We are the best team, but if we are divided then even a weaker team can beat us. Nobody should go it alone. This is the time to change the leadership of this wonderful country," he noted.

There were reports that Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka was considering going it alone after presenting his presidential nomination papers to the party.

The former Vice President, however, has since dismissed the reports, insisting that he is firmly in NASA.

Mudavadi later left Kisumu for a NASA political rally in Kitengela, Kajiado County.
