The National Super Alliance (NASA) principal Musalia Mudavadi on Sunday urged opposition supporters to stop sideshows and focus on ensuring reforms are achieved.
In a tweet, Mudavadi noted that the country was being held ransom by an illegitimate government and called on Kenyans not to relent in their quest for justice.
"The country is being held hostage by a regime that first lost legitimacy and now all civility and has now instituted a reign of terror. I call upon all Kenyans, especially those in opposition, to stop cannibalising themselves but instead close ranks & focus against this brutal regime," Mudavadi posted.
Musalia's remarks come in the wake of criticism from opposition supporters and politicians after he alongside other two co-principals; Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula skipped the swearing in of the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga as the 'people's president'.
In the past week, there have been lots of speculation regarding the three, but the coalition principals on Friday came out and assured Kenyans that they were united.
