ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi has called for unity among the opposition alliance NASA supporters as the nation approaches another presidential election.
Speaking during a rally in Nyamira Tuesday,Mudavadi said that it is only when united that the alliance can unseat the ruling Jubilee party calling upon supporters of all the NASA member and affiliate parties to whole heartedly support the alliance presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga in the exercise slated for October 17.
''We are no longer fighting about lower elective positions. This time we are only eyeing the top position and we must put our inter-alliance differences aside and pour all our votes into Raila's basket,'' he said.
Mudavadi who is also a co-principal in the 6 man-headed alliance further urged all leaders drawn from the ODM,Wiper,Ford-Kenya,Chama ChaMashinani,PNU and his Amani parties to together work and rally support towards realizing the dream.
''All our leaders should also work towards this by tirelessly selling the NASA agenda at the grass root level to enable us scoop the majority votes and better this nation,'' said the former Deputy premier.
Also present in the rally was Odinga, his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka and a host of other leaders.
