Nairobi County Deputy Governor Jonathan Mueke Friday hosted reggae music icons The Wailing souls at his city hall offices.
The music icons are set to host music at the KICC on Saturday.
“Nairobi County is keen on promoting music, arts and culture,” said Mueke .
The artists are set to visit to interact with the youths of Nairobi with an aim of educating them on current trends of infection and testing amongst adolescents and also advocate against stigmatization that comes with HIV/AIDS.
Wailing souls said they have traveled the world spreading the message of One Love through their music.
“Nairobi is an amazing place and we are sure they appreciate music that is Reggae included, we are going to give them a good performance,” said Wailing Souls.
