Details have emerged how two allieas of former Zimbabwe president Robert Mugabe fled into Nairobi.

According to Zimbabwe media, the two fled during the period of negotiations between the military and President Mugabe on November 14.

Jonathan Moyo, confidante to Mugabe's wife Grace Mugabe, and Saviour Kasukuwere left the country when the military took control of Harare and other parts of the country.

On Saturday, News24 reported that Kasukuwere and Moyo are hiding in Kenya and indicated that though Grace is in Zimbabwe, her children are in Singapore and South Africa.

“Grace’s allies Moyo and Kasukuwere, who sought refuge at Mugabe’s house, the Blue Roof after the army intervention, have also left the country."

Moyo was a controversial figure and belonged to the G40 cabal which the new administration and military branded as criminals for plundering the country's economy.

Kasukuwere served as a local government minister while Moyo was a Cabinet minister and spokesman.
