After days overseas, NASA principal Raila Odinga touched down at JKIA to a grand reception that was marred by scenes of violence as police engaged with his supporters.

Addressing a crowd NASA supporters, opposition politicians warned that Uhuru Kenyatta will also meet the fate that befell Zimbabwe's strongman, Robert Mugabe.

''Mugabe was removed from power by the military. Uhuru Kenyatta will be ousted by the people.'' Former Machakos senator Johnstone Muthama said.

''Mugabe wanted to give power to his wife but he was removed from power.'' Raila Odinga said.
