'Fake doctor' Mugo wa Wairimu will spend more time in custody after losing his title deed surety.

Wairimu who is facing 12 counts of rape and operating a clinic without a licence, suffered the setback after his guarantor in the case, Mr John Ngugi, demanded the document back to facilitate his children's education. 

According to the Star, his bid to have the court grant him more days to look for another guarantor hit a snag after Chief Magistrate Daniel Ogembo declined to grant the request. 

He, however, got a reprieve when Justice Ogembo reinstated his bond terms and advised him to make arrangements to secure his release.
