Gor Mahia midfield maestro Kenneth Muguna can finally rest easy after he secured his dream move to Albanian side KF Tirana on Tuesday.
The former Western Stima man was staring at another spell with the reigning Kenyan champions who were unwilling to part ways with him following a protracted transfer battle between them and the European side.
However, a delighted Muguna on Tuesday announced that a deal had been reached between the clubs and that he was happy to be heading to his new outfit.
"I am very happy for this big move.It is a club I have yearned to play for and I'm really looking forward to this opportunity. It is a step in the right direction and I believe it will help me grow professionally," Muguna said.
The 2016 KPL Most Valuable Player (MVP) also diamissed speculations that he had a soured relationship with the K'ogalo family at the time of his exit maintaining that he was in very good books with everyone at the club including the fans.
"There is no soured relationship between me and Gor Mahia. In fact we've had a very good engagement even with the fans," he added.
It is widely believed that former K'ogalo tactician Jose 'Ze Maria' Fereirra who currently coaches Tirana lured the lanky anchorman away from the Kenyan giants.
