Immediate former Gor Mahia players’ defender Musa Mohammed and midfielder Kenneth Muguna will leave the country on Sunday to officially join FK Tirana of Albania.

According to Capital Sport, the two players have already received travel documents ahead of the Sunday journey. The duo join the Albanian side on two year deals.

Former Gor Mahia head coach Brazilian José Marcelo Ferreira famously known as Ze Maria is now FK Tirana’s head coach. Gor Mahia’s fans used to refer to him as Legio Maria.

Reports indicate that Muguna joins the club as a free agent given the fact that his contract with the Kenyan Champions had ended, while Musa Mohammed has been signed for Sh4 million.

The midfielder joined Gor Mahia at the beginning of 2017 from Western Stima. Kogallo has already signed Lawrence Juma from Nzoia Sugar as his replacement.

Musa Mohhamed – the immediate former Gor Mahia captain has been the Club’s most loyal servant in recent times.

He joined the Club in 2010, and went on to win a host of trophies among them four premier league titles. In fact, he has never played for another Club apart from Gor Mahia.

“I am really pleased that this move is finally done and I can’t wait to start my new journey. This has been the product of hard work and determination and hopefully I can translate the same form in Albania,” Mohamed said ahead of his Albania move.
