Banking Fraud Unit boss Joseph Mugwanja has been transferred from the office months after he was named in the sh791 million NYS scandal.

The main suspect in the saga, businesswoman Josephine Kabura implicated Mugwanja in an affidavit saying he grabbed sh80 million from her during a raid at her house.

Mugwanja will take over as Airport CID boss from Joseph Ngisa, who will retire at the end of the month. He will be replaced by Ngatia Iregi.

CID boss, Ndegwa Muhoro announced the changes on Sunday evening.
