[PHOTO/Futaa]Muhoroni Youth staged a tough battle to hold visiting Zoo FC to a one-all draw in their KPL match played at Muhoroni Stadium on Thursday.
The result was a good boost to their survival hopes as they continue to fight at the tail of the league table.
Zoo took the lead after only ten minutes but Hassan Kiyoyo scored the equaliser from the spot 12 minutes later.
Zoo's goal was scored by Nicholas Kipkirui after collecting a loose ball in the area before he fired past Muhoroni custodian Gradus Ochieng.
Later it was Zoo defender Dominic Ouma who fouled Bliss Kityo in the area to gift the struggling hosts the penalty which goal keeper Vincent Misikhu had too little to stop.
With the draw, Muhoroni remain 18th with 25 points while Zoo stay at position 13 with 35 points after 28 and 29 outing respectively.
