Former Kenya Premier League (KPL) sides Muhoroni Youth FC and Western Stima will start life in the second tier league – National Super League (NSL) this weekend.

The two teams were relegated from KPL at the end of last year, after finishing bottom and second last respectively.

Vihiga United and Wazito FC have since taken up Muhoroni and Stima slots in KPL, Muhoroni Youth FC will open NSL campaign against Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) at Nairobi’s Camp Toyoyo grounds on Sunday, February 11, 2018.

On the same day, Western Stima will host Mombasa based Modern Coast Rangers at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu.

Other Sunday fixtures are Green Commandoes versus Coast Stima at the Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega and Nairobi City Stars versus Nairobi Stima in Nairobi.

However, the 2018 NSL season officially kicks off on Saturday, February 10, 2018. The Saturday fixtures are:

Kangemi All Stars v Bidco UnitedKibera Black Stars v Golden Field Evangelism (GFE 105)Kenya Police v TalantaIsibania v Nakuru AllStars Ushuru v Administration PoliceKisumu All Stars v St. Joseph Youth at the Moi Stadium.

Kisumu All Stars took up Palos FC’s spot in the NSL after the former withdrew at the end of last year due to financial constraints.
