Former Nakuru All Stars tactician George Maina has been appointed the new head coach for Muhoroni Youth until the end of the season.

Maina has acknowledged that he has been tasked with a lot of work but he says he is up to the task.

His appointment ends former head coach James Omondi's term as coach after being chosen as the interim coach of the squad after Gilbert Selebwa was chosen as the manager for AFC Leopards.

Maina appointment comes with a lot of experience after coaching Kambakia Christian College and Ligi Ndogo in Nairobi.

Muhoronu Youth are currently position 16th in the league with 19 points picked up out of a total of 23 matches played.

The new appointment is expected to help improve the teams performance as the aim to move up in the table and avoid relegation later on the season.
