Drama started when one of the players was allegedly assaulted by the club chairman's security after they had asked for their pending salaries; a claim that Adagala denied.

As if that was not enough, the players went to FKF offices to seek audience but their effort hit a brick wall as they were turned away and as they were left helpless.

It has since emerged that the FKF-Nyanza branch intervened with the help of one of the bishops from the region to help mediate the two warring sides until a solution was reached with Adagala promising to pay the two-months salaries while the rest of the money will be cleared before the end f the season.

A player who sought anonymity told Goal: "He has agreed to pay us a two-month salary and has promised to settle the balance before the end of the season."

The player however, said that there are other unresolved issues which will be solved on Thursday.
