"We have come to consult with the county government on how we can rescue and integrate the street children," Mukobe said.

Speaking in Eldoret on Friday shortly after meeting with Uasin Gishu Deputy Governor Daniel Chemno to deliberate on mechanisms of eliminating street families in the county, Mukobe urged the media to provide balanced information to the public, following recent allegations that the county's enforcement officers were involved in the killing and disappearance of street children in Eldoret town.

"It is very common that these street children fight among themselves, there can be fighting for example when others from Nakuru town arrive in Eldoret," she said.
