Matungulu member of parliament Stephen Mutinda Mule has condemned the registration of Atheist society in Kenya by the office of the Attorney general.
Speaking in Kinyui primary on Wednesday while launching classrooms funded by CDF, Mule said that Atheist will mislead the future generation.
Mule said that kids being taught about the existence of God has led to them growing well with fear of a superior being thus avoiding social vices.
Mule noted that God's teachings have played a major role in people's lives by giving hope, peace forgiveness and much more since many good morals had been derived from religious books. "Where would a nation that doesn't believe in God be heading to?" wondered Mule.
On the other hand, Mule urged Matungulu OCPD Joseph Chesire to investigate and take action on police officers from Kinyui Police station for allegedly harassing residents who go there to seek assistance.
Our efforts to talk to Matungulu OCPD Joseph Chesire on phone bore no fruits as our calls went unanswered.
