Mulleys Supermarket has opened the sixth branch in Tala town.

The new outlet was opened on Friday bringing to six the outlets under the brand. Three supermarkets are in Machakos town, one in Mlolongo and another in Emali town. The supermarket located next to the bus terminal is the second major supermarket in Tala town after Eastmatt supermarket.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mulleys CEO, Kevin Mulei said the new supermarket is as a result of growth of the business which started as Mulei and sons wholesalers in Machakos town.

He said, “This supermarket is a sign that as a company we are growing. When we rebranded to Mulleys Supermarkets, our dream was to be a world class supermarket. I thank our customers and everyone who supported us to realise this dream."

The new branch of Mulleys Supermarkets was received well by the residents who swarmed in once the store opened.

Hope Kalondu, a customer said, "This a good move as the completion it brings to others will mean increased quality products and lowering of prices. We will no longer have to travel to Machakos to enjoy their services.''

The supermarket offers products ranging from furniture, electronics, home appliances and more.
