Former Kilifi North MP Gideon Mung'aro has hit out at NASA leaders, saying that their push to swear-in Raila Odinga will never materialise.The former ODM legislator argues that Raila is pushing for what he cannot achieve.Speaking to journalists in Malindi Town on Monday, Mung'aro, who dumped ODM and joined Jubilee before unsuccessfully contesting for the Kilifi governor seat in the August 8 polls, asked NASA leaders to wait for 2022.The former Raila ally said that NASA is dreaming in its push to have Raila sworn-in as president.He said that Raila did not win any presidential election to demand to be declared president.The former MP said that NASA politicians are confusing and misleading the former Prime Minister."Raila Odinga should stand firm and reject being misled by people who do not mean well for him if he still wants to retain the little respect he has," he said.Mung'aro asked Raila to save his energy and wait for 2022 to try his luck if he still wants to be in politics.He said that as a senior politician Raila needs to provide direction to upcoming leaders and shun activities that paints him negatively.The former Kilifi North MP asked Raila to put his political differences aside and support president Uhuru Kenyatta's government.Raila's planned Tuesday swearing-in was canceled on Sunday to a later date.The former Prime Minister insists that he does not recognize Uhuru Kenyatta's presidency.
