Kilifi North MP Gideon Munga’ro has taken a swipe at the opposition, saying it has no agenda.

Speaking at Kaloleni during Deputy President William Ruto’s tour in the region, Munga’ro said the opposition is nothing but a collection of non-performers. The MP said opposition leaders have served in different capacities in past regimes but have nothing to show the electorate."Cord leaders have nothing to show for the time they were in government. There is nothing new they will offer," said Mung'aro, as quoted by the Star. On his part, Ruto urged voters in the region not to be hoodwinked by the opposition. The DP said Jubilee will floor the opposition in the August 8 polls, adding that the Coast region is among the areas that will contribute towards the victory of the current government."I'm confident Jubilee will win in the August election and Coast region will largely vote for the party. The registration of voters clearly shows Jubilee has more support countrywide," he said. His sentiments come after opposition leaders on Wednesday signed a pact to work together under the National Super Alliance (NASA).
