Defiant Kilifi North MP Gideon Mung'aro who is among the ODM 'rebel' politicians expected to face the party's disciplinary committee has declared that he is prepared for any eventuality.
According to the firebrand politician, a by-election will be an opportunity for him, to take on ODM party leader Raila Odinga to ascertain if he (Raila) is still strong.
"There will be no by-election.If it happens, I will know if Raila is still strong. We are in government and Raila should not play with us," said Mung'aro as quoted by the Standard.
The lawmaker who has set his eyes on the Kilifi gubernatorial seat further accuses the former Premier of wasting his time pursuing them even when he has declared several times that he has not decamped from the party.
He has declared to stand with all the party 'rebels' who have been expelled from the Orange party. However, he says he is going to wait for his lawyer's advice on whether to honour summonses by the ODM disciplinary committee.
The legislator who is a key Jubilee Party man at the Coast, a region that is considered an ODM zone, says in an even that he is expelled from the Orange party, he will go back to his electorate and seek a fresh mandate.
Mung'aro's troubles with the ODM started when he was removed from being the party's minority whip in the National Assembly for allegedly suppurating Jubilee Government.
