Former Kilifi North MP Gideon Mung’aro has urged former Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar to join President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee Party.Speaking to journalists in Kilifi Town on Saturday, Mung’aro said Omar did the right thing by quitting the Kalonzo Musyoka-led Party, adding that there is room for him in Jubilee.Mung’aro supported Omar’s move arguing that the issues raised by the former Senator regarding opposition leader Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka are true.“I have been there and what Omar said after his resignation as Wiper secretary general is what exactly happens in ODM, Wiper and all opposition parties,” said Mung’aro, as quoted by the People Daily. The former MP claimed that Raila and Kalonzo do not respect the views of their party members and only use them as weapons to seek power. He said he was frustrated when he was in ODM, adding that Raila does not care about the interests of Kenyans as he claims.Mung'aro who unsuccessfully vied for the Kilifi governor seat said the opposition has nothing to offer Kenyans, adding that Raila’s political career will be brought to an end soon. The former MP asked Kenyans to shun the opposition and support the ruling government which he said has done a lot to improve the living standards of Kenyans.Omar resigned as Wiper SG last week citing deep rooted reasons. The former senator who unsuccessfully contested for the Mombasa governor seat said he was undermined and frustrated as Wiper SG.He accused Kalonzo of openly supporting Governor Hassan Joho in the gubernatorial race. Omar has filed a petition challenging Joho’s re-election
