According to Munya, the only way PNU can be revived by voting in candidates from the outfit that was used by President Mwai for re-elction in 2007.

“You can only strengthen PNU by voting for its candidates. We want as many MPs and ward representatives so that we can have bargaining power in national politics,” said Munya.

The Meru governor was speaking on Sunday in Timau Town.

Munya has been labeled as a rebel after declining to fold the party and join Jubilee.
