Party of National Unity (PNU) leader Peter Munya has termed members who defected from the party as cowards.

Speaking on Sunday, Munya told aspirants planing to leave the party of leaving the party to do so immediately since his outfit was receiving more members willing to take up their positions.

While receiving a Member of Parliament in Tigania East who defected from Jubilee party, Munya assured supporters that PNU’s popularity would not be shaken by defections.

 He accused the Jubilee party of buying members.

The Meru County governor urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to honour pledges of addressing insecurity issues along the Meru-Isiolo county border that has seen lives lost and livestock stolen in banditry attacks.
