Meru Governor, Peter Munya, has responded to claims of being a NASA mole as claimed by Senator Kiraitu Murungi and Igembe South Member of Parliament, Mithika Linturi.
Munya has dismissed the claims as mere propaganda.
This is after Kiraitu and Linturi accused the governor of funding the National Super Alliance (NASA) campaigns in Meru.
Munya has termed the sentiments as tactics by opponent to derail his re-election campaigns in the gubernatorial race.
“PNU was the first party to hold a National Delegates Congress to endorse President Uhuru Kenyatta. We are also going to hold another one with the President later on in the month to reaffirm our commitment to support him,” said the Chair of the Council of Governors.
Munya is set to face Kiraitu in the Meru gubernatorial race.
