PNU national chairman John Kamama Peter has urged Munya to form his own political party instead of trying to hijack the already established outfit.

Speaking in Nakuru, Kamama also accused former Ndaragwa MP Jeremiah Kioni and former Assistant Minister Nderitu Mureithi of fighting President Uhuru Kenyatta’s leadership.

“The leaders are trying to hijack the party in a bid to kill the dream of uniting the country which was the sole aim of forming it. We will join and work with the government,” he noted.

At the same time, Kuresoi North PNU chairman David Langat condemned Munya and his colleagues for frustrating efforts to dissolve PNU and join yet to be formed Jubilee Party.

“Munya and Kioni are brokers who are out to fish for a party in bid to destabilise Uhuru’s quest to unite all Kenyans by forming a national party,” said Langat.
