Meru governor Peter Munya has accused Deputy President William Ruto of plotting his political downfall.
Speaking on Thursday, Munya claimed there were political under dealings that had influenced the Political Parties’ Dispute Tribunal ruling on June 22 that directed all PNU party officials to vacate office.
Munya is the outfit's party leader.
“I have instructed my lawyers to write to the JSC for the tribunal members to be investigated. They have been making contradictory rulings which are politically motivated," he said.
The governor further maintained that he was PNU's Party leader despite the ruling.
“I am the PNU party leader and its only party members who can remove me; not political machinations instigated by Jubilee,” he stated.
He ditched Jubilee Party for PNU when his Alliance Party of Kenya folded up to merge with Jubilee.
