[Photo/Facebook/brianonsoti]Lands PS, Dr Nicholas Muraguri on Tuesday signed an MOU with the Government Digital Payments (eCitizen payments portal) to enable GDP to facilitate the Ministry with a System to process online Transfer of Land, Transfer of Lease, and Charge) Discharge, Subdivision, etc.
The System will go live on 25th of September 2017 at the Nairobi Registry after which other Registries will follow progressively as they are digitised.The Ministry together with GDP will organise Training and Change Management seminars.
This is a paradigm shift of seismic proportion and will improve the operations at the Ministry as well as improving the ease of doing business nationally.GDP Coordinator,Mr.Nick Wambugu signed the MOU for GDP.
The ceremony was witnessed by a GDP official,Mr Joseph Mutai,Ag.Lands Secretary,Mrs Esther Ogega and Lands Ministry head of ICT, Mr.Eric Mugo.
