A 22-year-old woman is in police custody after she stabbed her husband to death in Murang'a.

The suspect is said to have quarreled with the deceased before picking a kitchen knife and stabbed him.

A relative heard their commotion and when he went to check what was happening, she found the man bleeding profusely, police said.

The victim was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The suspect is expected to be arraigned in court on Monday.
