A woman from Rwanda accused of killing her husband will remain in custody for three more days to allow police complete investigations.
Eldoret High Court registrar Mildred Munyekenye on Monday allowed police to detain the suspect to complete probe before she can take a plea.
The accused, Rutinduka Nadia, is said to have hacked her husband only identified as Katam to death at Maili Nne within Uasin Gishu county after a domestic quarrel ensued between them on Friday.
Area police boss Edward Ombongi confirmed the incident and said the man died while being rushed to the hospital.
Ombongi said the woman was arrested hours later.
