Embakasi East MP aspirant Francis Mureithi has finally spoken days after the court of appeal upheld MP Babu Owino’s win in the 2017 general elections.
The Jubilee politician took to Facebook where he thanked his supporters for standing with him during his campaigns.
He also revealed that he will reveal his next move week after losing the appeal.
“First I want to thank the Almighty God for walking with us in this journey of seeking justice for the people of Embakasi East. Secondly, I want to appreciate my supporters for the continued support and prayers. Let’s stay calm and give my able lawyers time to go through the judgement that was delivered today. I shall announce my next course of action early next week. GOD BLESS EMBAKASI EAST,” Mureithi said.
On his part, Babu Owino has asked Mureithi and his team to back his leadership for development purposes.
He also assured residents that he will serve them without fear or favor during his term in office.
“I will also extend an olive branch to all and ensure that they are not left out. There is a time for everything, a time to lead and a time to be led,” he said.
