[Photo: nation.co.ke]Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen has apologised to the Americans on behalf of Siaya Senator James Orengo.Murkomen has said that Orengo mocked the Americans Las Vega shooting victims and those in Puerto Rico after a hurricane left the US island devastated."I want to send my condolences to our US friends who have fallen victims of the two recent disasters while apologizing on behalf of NASA's James Orengo who mocked the Americans affected by these two disasters. We do not know what he had used prior to making those utterances," Murkomen told Citizen TV on Tuesday.Orengo had earlier during a press conference at the Bomas of Kenya rubbished threats by influential western countries who warned politicians could be slapped with travel and other sanctions for derailing the election."Demonstration is a right that we will continue to enjoy without any blackmail for us to behave in a certain way or fashion," Orengo said referring to foreign diplomats as quoted by the Star.He added: We're not very enthusiastic about going to the United States of America. They have their own problems. They had a hurricane at Puerto Rico where three million Americans require assistance."NASA has called for countrywide mass protests to pile pressure on the IEBC to effect far-reaching changes and to push for scrapping election laws amendments.
