Senate Majority leader took to Twitter calling himself 'yours truly' after the Senate team thrashed the governors' team 5-0 in a thrilling match at Bukhungu Stadium ahead of the Devolution conference in Kakamega.
Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala scored twice, with the former governor of Bungoma who is now the Senate speaker scoring one against his old friends.
Kajiado senator Philip Mpayei scored one with 'yours truly' also getting one.
Murkomen immediately took to twitter saying, "Today we the Senate of Kenya beat our friends the Governors 5 nil in a devolution football match played in Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega. Sen.Malala 2 Speaker Lusaka 1 Sen.Mpayei 1 and yours truly 1'.
The match came a day before the official opening of the fifth devolution conference in Kakamega.
The conference aims at highlighting some of the milestones devolutions has achieved.
